TWITTER COMPETITION
posted by Sarah Pinborough at 09:41Hey,
Had a good suggestion from a Twitter chum that I should run a competition for a copy of The Language of Dying so here it is. The prize, btw, will be a copy of the limited edition slipcover hardback (one of only 100 and can be seen here http://store.pspublishing.co.uk/acatalog/info_292.html)
and signed by myself, World Fantasy Award winner Graham Joyce (who wrote the introduction) and also the cover artist Mark Chadwick.
So, here goes..
Summarize one of the following of my favourite films into 140 characters in a way that will make me laugh...
A) Moulin Rouge
B) Gilda
C) Get Carter
D) The Witches of Eastwick
E) The Man who would be King
Entries by DM to @sarahjpin please and I'll announce the winner next Saturday. If I'm not following you and you therefore can't DM, then email me your entry to the contact address on this website and include your Twitter ID - when I've got your entry I'll follow you back..;-)
Ta!

Great story!! Very well written and did you hit the nail on the head. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were talking about my cat, "Mac the Cat". Sadly to say he vanished a year ago on August 20, 2008. I'm a grown man but I'm not ashamed to say that this story brought a tear to my eye's.
Thank you very much Sarah.
P.S. I look forward to reading more of your work
Matt
Okay so I'm not he sharpest tool in the shed this comment is for the cat story but you probably figured that out. OOPS! My bad :^)
Hey! Thanks for the kind words on the cat blog..it was kind of part about cats, part about people and love etc..And if you're writing nice comments I don't mind where you leave them ;-)
