      • PS Publishing - The champion of the UK small presses. Home to Postscripts magazine. And publisher of my novella The Language of Dying in 2008.

      • Clive Barker - Very nice man - but introduced me to insomnia the first time I watched Hellraiser... The Books of Blood are awesome.
      • Mark Chadbourn - Fabulous writer, fabulous friend. Overly prolific. Makes me jealous.
      • Christopher Golden - The most prolific writer I know and a great friend. Too many good books to mention.
      • Graham Joyce - His writing makes me cry and makes me want to write better.
      • Stephen King - Needs no introduction. Author of countless modern classics. I had to put It in a drawer in order to sleep when I was 14.
      • Dean Koontz - I'll always love him for the early days.
      • Sarah Langan - Author of The Keeper. Kick-ass Brooklyn chick and member of MUSE
      • Tim Lebbon - Welsh, but furry and loveable. Creator of the fabulous Noreela world of Dusk and Dawn.
      • Deborah LeBlanc - Author of Morbid Curiosity - Dark, southern and with a deadly charm... Member of MUSE
      • Michael Marshall (Smith) - Is funny, drinks wine, writes fab books. He makes me want to write better too.
      • Mark Morris - Short. That's why he's written so many massive great big successful wonderful books... To help him reach the top shelf. Also my Best Buddy.
      • Alexandra Sokoloff - Author of The Harrowing - Fabulous and bright LA blonde. Member of MUSE
      • John Wyndham - British and understated. Author of classics such as Day of the Triffids, The Kraken Wakes, The Midwich Cuckoos and many others. There is always space on my bookshelf for him.

      • British Fantasy Society - UK organisation that promotes the efforts of horror and fantasy writers, and runs the annual British Fantasy Awards and Fantasycon event.
      • The Horror Writer's Association - International organisation that works to support and encourage horror writers and horror writing. There's also a separate website for the UK chapter.
      • UK SF Book News - a must-have on any favourites list.
