- MUSE - MUSE is the collective term for novelists Deborah LeBlanc, Sarah Langan, Alexandra Sokoloff and Sarah Pinborough.
- Leisure Books - The leading US horror publisher of mass market paperbacks including mine.

- Dark Arts Books - Lovely US small press.
- Clive Barker - Very nice man - but introduced me to insomnia the first time I watched Hellraiser... The Books of Blood are awesome.

- Christopher Golden - The most prolific writer I know and a great friend. Too many good books to mention.
- Graham Joyce - His writing makes me cry and makes me want to write better.
- Stephen King - Needs no introduction. Author of countless modern classics. I had to put It in a drawer in order to sleep when I was 14.
- Dean Koontz - I'll always love him for the early days.
- Sarah Langan - Author of The Keeper. Kick-ass Brooklyn chick and member of MUSE

- Michael Marshall (Smith) - Is funny, drinks wine, writes fab books. He makes me want to write better too.

- Alexandra Sokoloff - Author of The Harrowing - Fabulous and bright LA blonde. Member of MUSE
- John Wyndham - British and understated. Author of classics such as Day of the Triffids, The Kraken Wakes, The Midwich Cuckoos and many others. There is always space on my bookshelf for him.
